"Hancock's carrer took off from here. He joined Miles Davis' band and made groundbreaking music on his own, including his 1964 album Maiden Voyage and 1965 set Cantaloupe Island. Royalties from "Watermelon Man" gave him the freedom to experiment, and he did, moving into fusion in the '70s and taking a turn at electronic music in the '80s, which resulted in the hit song "Rockit.""

Die geilste Version aller Zeiten! Hancock ist selbst perplex, was hier aus seinem Stück gemacht wird.

Of all Miles Davis’ groups this one best represents a midstream point bridging his cool and initial digital innovations from Herbie Hancock is maybe one of the coolest of his later performances and on video

looks like Star Trek New Generation Alien wear. shit looks so weird, esp. Evans. costumes for concerts. sigh. jesus , just wear something nice off the rack , and play. After Sly and Hendrix did it, it was done. Can't top it. Can't touch it.
