    The first version I heard of this track was by Manfred Mann on "The One In The Middle" EP. This version is somewhat mellower. Cool if you're in the mood to chill. Sliiide

    Not the original version to hit the American Charts, the original had in the background the great salsa Queen LA LUPE, before she made it big thanks to Tito Puente.

    During my jazz combo years, whenever someone would call up this tune I never knew if they meant Herbie's version or Mongo's version.  Well, actually it depended on who I was playing with. I was down with either version. I didn't care.
