  • "This is a rat race... And I ain't no rat. I'm a turtle, a ninja turtle. Michelangelo is my favourite, what's yours?" - Tony Ferguson

If Tony Ferguson brought a knife to a gun fight? Tony Ferguson fans would still put our hard cold cash on Ferguson walking away from the scene, wiping the blood off his knife with his elbows.

If Stephen King would rewrite a great horror novel, it would fall short, if it did NOT have Tony Ferguson as the main protagonist. Saving the world by entering Hell itself to challenge Lucifer to a 5 round bout. Then fighting his way out with his elbows, ankle picks and Imanari rolls.

    Fighting for something different now.
    What's he fighting for?
    Same thing.

Quietly but violently Ferguson is on a 11 fight winning streak that dates back to October 2013. For those counting along at home, that’s five years of being untouched in the cage. In a game of inches, that punishes you deeply for your slip-ups, Ferguson is standing tall.

The strangest or wildest part of it all, is the mark Ferguson has left on the faces of his last six opponents. A pic floated around the interwebs of Tony Ferguson’s last challengers post-fight, to be seen in a blood bath.

Over his last six fights Ferguson has faced a Mortal Kombat tower of UFC lightweights. Anthony Pettis, Kevin Lee, Rafael dos Anjos, Lando Vannata, Edson Barboza and Josh Thomson have all fallen.

Tony Ferguson: Do you know how many times, I've had my leg kicked this CAMP....Take a Guess?

    Press Member: A THOUSAND?

The greatest fight in UFC history is going to happen!
Massive lightweight title fight between champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson. Making it official.

Tony Ferguson will be taking on Khabib Nurmagomedov for the lightweight title. The action goes down in the main event of UFC 249 on pay-per-view (PPV) from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on April 18.

Nurmagomedov is one of the most dominant grapplers the sport of mixed martial arts has ever seen. However, Ferguson is no walk in the park, when it comes to the grappling department. Recently, “El Cucuy” shared a video on his Instagram of him training his ground attacks as he prepares for Khabib.

Tony Ferguson said, “It Was All Fun & Games When They Laughed,… Now,.. They Get To Be Stuck In A Cage W/ Me. This Time More Than 3 Rounds … 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu... Champ Shit Only™️

    Fight card so far is;
    Ronaldo Souza vs Uriah Hall
Jessica Andrade vs Rose Namajunas (More to be Announced)

Riding the 12-fight win streak Tony Ferguson (25-3) goes up against the 28-fight undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov on April 19 (AEST). The fifth booking of the title bout has become official late last week after “El Cucuy” signed his contract. The contest headlines the pay-per-view fight card held in Brooklyn, New York.

The number-one lightweight contender, Tony Ferguson recently called into Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show and said the following “I told everybody I’m going to make him piss blood. I said that a while ago,” Tony Ferguson said. “This guy has got an issue and his name is Tony Ferguson and I’m coming after him. It’s hunting season, baby.”

In his previous bout this past September he successfully defended his belt for the second time, by submission in the third round against Dustin Poirier. Before that (October 2018) “The Eagle” retained his title via fourth-round submission against Conor McGregor.

Will Tony Ferguson’s frantic style, hold up to the bold Russian steel that Nurmagomedov utilizes? That’s really how this fight is going to shake out; will both be high pace-setting from get GO and will the Russian be able to subdue the uncanny striking and spiritic attacks? Both men have high motors and massive engines, weapons that can set the pace for the fight. I cannot wait for this!!!

Stick around for More, it's on the way!
